After Upgrade from 7.5.4 to 8.0.0 Mambo Issues

After upgrading from Plesk 7.5.4 to 8.0.0 on FC3, my Mambo administrator for a test site loads, but the content portion of the screens is blank. I can find no error reports in httpd/access_logs, httpd/error_log, /var/log/mysql_log, or /var/log/messages!

Any assistance would be most appreciated.

check if disabling php safe mode solves the issue.

Domain > Site setup > Next to PHP, Uncheck "safe_mode on"

PHP Safe Mode Solved the problem

That solved the problem! Now, I hope that someone from SWsoft is reading this thread and takes some action to make Mambo work with safe mode on.

that's not up to SWsoft, but to Mambo/joomla.

Personally, behind the nice looking buttons, mambo/joomla is quite of a mess code-wise. i get nervous every time someone install it on my server...
