• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

After upgrade remote emails don't go out

Remote emails just stay in the queue until they time out. Local emails work fine.

Ping finds remote sites (i.e. ping www.google.com works, so AFAIK it's not a DNS issue)

I tried switching to postfix -- same problem -- so I switched back to qmail

Anyone found a reliable solution? I've checked the permissions -- they are all fine

I'm on a GenuineIntel, Intel(R) Xeon(R)CPU E5410 @ 2.33GHz -- running Fedora RC4

Thanks in advance (from all the people waiting for their emails to go out)

Hello,

Just want to say that I have same problem.
All began yestarday.

Qmail is a pandora box, and as I saw not many tools we have to manage situation like this.
Even more, "Mail queue" in Control Panel is a simple view tool rather than a manage tool.

I'm still with Plesk 8.6, on a FC-4 box.

Thank you ...

Hi,

Make sure you can open outgoing connections on port 25 from your server.
For example:
telnet smtp3.google.com 25

Also you should check what records appear in /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog when you send email to remote address.
