• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

alias domain problem

New Pleskian
Hi,

I have a VPS in OVH with two IP addresses:

- ip_1
- ip_2

ip_1 is the vps default IP, and it’s assigned to the first domain (domain1.com). It’s the main server domain. I have configured its zone as an inverse zone as its name in Plesk: srv.domain1.com.

ip_2 is assigned to another domain that belongs to another user and it’s a dedicated IP. I have a problem with this user: I bought a a CDN (I have a lot of customer using similar configurations) and I have created its CDN from the panel manager as:

s.domain1.com CNAME myweb.any.cdn.anycast.me (data of cdn)

I can ping to s.domain1.com and it’s resolving correctly the hotspot IP. The problem is that when I load the URL as is: s.domain1.com it’s showing a Plesk default page, so it’s not working. If I activate the CDN in the website, no image is loading.

I think there is a problem with that alias and I don’t know how to solve it or how to locate the problem.

Thanks.
