  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

Allow "catchall" email

An easy way to use Googlemail, is to store all email for a domain in a single mailbox, and have Gmail check the POP3 mailbox. But there does not appear to be a "catchall" option. This would be useful.

This option is available although well hidden. You have to login on the desired site and goto the "Mail" tab. There you will find an option about what todo with non-existing users.

Or as you like:
/usr/local/psa/bin/subscription_settings -u <domainname> -no_usr <e-mail address where mail should being delivered>

Thanks for that, it is a step in the right direction. Under the Mail tab, clicking Mail Settings, has an option "What to do with mail sent to nonexistent users".

This would work, but is subscription wide. I have a hundred domains in my subscription, and it would not make sense to forward all non-existent email from all domains, to one domain.

It would be very useful to have this option on a per domain basis. Likewise to enable email on a per domain basis.

You could move that one domain to its own Subscription. That would solve the problem of subscription-wide changes?

That would work, but sounds like a sledge-hammer to crack a nut. Be much more useful to have some per-domain email controls (a) Catchall (b) Activate/deactivate email
