• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Amazon EC2 AMI instances need an update

New Pleskian
Amazon announced new m3 instance types today. I went to try loading the plesk panel ami onto one and the m3 types don't appear. (they appear for a basic amazon linux instance)

Can someone at parallels add the m3 types to the available instances list?

Thank you!

We have plans for adding the m3 types to the available instances list. But at the moment I haven't any exact ETA.

Last time I had to start a m1.xlarge instance and pay more, instead of a cheaper and new m2 or m3, I don´t remember, because that Plesk AMI didn´t let me, I need to upgrade my ec2 instance, I´ll start another m3.xlarge running a snapshot just to be sure that I´ll be able to change the instance type to m3 when I shut down the current instance.
