Anonymous FTP pass? Possible?

Is it possible to set password for anonymous?
I readed tons of docs, but didn't understand if its possible.

If yes, tell me how or give link to doc...

what would be the point of 'anonymous' then? Just create a user with a pw. Otherwise I think what you want is imposibble!

The reason is that this user has the right rights what i need.
I want that the users can upload/download there, but can't delete any files. So, that's the point.

Is it possible?

why don't you restricte that user so he can't delete?
google like 'proftpd restricd user to delete'
