• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

has anyone tried CentOs 4.5

new install or the online updater ?

ok, since you are all cowards, i tried it myself and so far everything seems to work :D

updated 4.4 to 4.5, had mysql5 and php5 from centosplus installed.

well, its a new release number. since updates break plesk, god knows what new major versions might do ;)

Heh, yeah I know what you mean, its kind of confusing the way they do this. The point releases for CentOS and Redhat are released quarterly, what they're doing is rebundling the distribution with all the updates to that point. It lets them update drivers and the installer (anaconda) to support the latest hardware for new installs. All the fun stuff is in the centosplus and epel channels.

irzyxel,

Have you noticed any problems with suEXEC since the updates? I have been having CGI problems.

Thanks,
Seth
