• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Apache doesn't restart after upgrade (9.2.1 and 9.2.2)

Apache doesn't restart

as always .. upgrades are dangerous w Plesk !
after upgrade I cannot restart Apache

get the message :

Error: Unable to make action: Unable to manage service by websrvmng: websrvmng: Service /etc/init.d/apache2 failed to restart ('--start', 'web')

don't know what to do next ?... cannot reverse (Plesk console working fine..)

any clue ? (which log can help me..)

Not an upgrade issue ! my fault sorry ! upgrade worked fine !!!!

Certificate issue..

It was a Certificate issue... problem with a key (I had to install it myself, then after Plesk upgrade..-> bingo)
it's always dangerous to work outside Plesk when you are not a Linux guru !!
a friend of mine found this issue and destroy the 'bad lines'...
I was looking in the Apache error.log and no errors... it was an SSL error
