  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Apache not working

Hello, mine is a VPS with Plesk 11.0.9 and Centos0 6.3.
It's a new machine so I haven't made any particular configuration.
Suddenly the webserver goes down and the websites are not visible from the internet, I can't start apache and I have to restart the server.
This happen 2-3 times per day.

I checked the /var/log/httpd/error_log but I'm a novice about apache and Linux so I can't figure out the problem and I would appreciate if you could help me about this:

I'm not sure about your Virtualization system but I saw this on Virtuozzo VPSses when kernel sent graceful SIGTERM (Signal 15) to processes in VPS due to lack of resources for all VPSes on hardware node. It can be found in /var/log/messages on Virtuozzo hardware node.
Also I can recommend to use watchdog. It will restart Apache automatically after unexpected stopping.
 
Hi Igor, a lack of resources seems to be the problem, I've just increased the RAM and I'm testing out the system.
