• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

"Applying the DNS zone template" NEVER DOES COMPLETE - PLEASE HELP

Panel version 10.4.4 Update #57, last updated at Dec 2, 2013 02:04 PM

When I try and update the DNS template, it NEVER updates. I have seen quite a few posts on this subject but no fix posted anywhere. There are some posts that have talked about updating mySQL. The reason we bought a control panel like Plesk is the first place is in the hope to avoid having to tear into mySQL.

Or, if I must tear into mySQL, I would need a step-by-step process to correct this bug.

Does anyone have a fix for this problem?

Please help if you are able.

Thank you.

As far as I know this problem has been fixed in 11.0.9 or 11.5 Plesk version. Plesk 12 is also already released. I do not see any reason why you should use this very old Plesk version.

I appreciate the reply but that does not address the question. Aside from not addressing a fix, the reason I run this version is the cost and problems associated with upgrade. Almost every time I upgrade Plesk there are problems.
