• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

ASP.net not working

When I attempt to create an account with asp.net it says (Component was not installed) and is greyed out. I believe the .net framework was installed prior to plesk, but maybe not. It certainly is now. Is there any way for me to get that enabled? I have a ticket in with SW Soft, but I haven't had any response yet. I'm very new to PLESK and this is preventing me from migrating clients onto the machine..... I only have few clients to move onto the machine, but I can't very well do that until I know if this problem is resolved.

How long does it normally take SW Soft to respond to a ticket?

Can anyone help me resolve this? Should I wipe the machine and reinstall?

I'm running Win 2k with IIS 5.0.

Thanks,
Chad

Did you restart the system after installing the ASP.NET?...

If you didn't you can first try to restart Plesk services to see if you can then enable it in Plesk. (No longer grayed out)

Hope this helps!
