• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

AtMail Failure

AtMail has stopped working on Plesk 10, running CentOS 5 (10.0.1_build109101029.18 os_CentOS 5).

With AtMail enabled both on server settings and on domain, when you visit webmail.<domain>.com, it errors:

Error: Password file could not be found

I've tried un-checking and re-checking the AtMail setting in the admin panel-- but not luck. I also attempted:

[root@mail domain.com]# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/webmailmng --install --name=atmail
[root@mail domain.com]# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/webmailmng --enable --name=atmail
[root@mail domain.com]# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all

But that didn't work either. A quick google search on the error found the AtMail forums where someone had the same problem, but absolutely no response/help/solution.

Any ideas anyone?

Scott

Make sure that you have password file /etc/psa-webmail/atmail/.atmail.shadow

I have the same problem. And there is no password file in /etc/psa-webmail/atmail. And then? How to fix this problem?
