• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Autoresponder error on mirrored domain

Basic Pleskian
I have a somewhat uncommon email configuration, whereby email sent to domainb.com gets delivered to configuredaddress@domaina.com. So bob@domainb.com goes to bob@domaina.com. You can do this by manually editing the virtualdomains qmail control file, such that domainb.com has the same "number" as domaina.com.

This has worked great for years. However, I've run into a little problem with autoresponders, since upgrade to Plesk 8.2. The problem is that the autoresponders don't work on domainb.com, only when email is sent directly to domaina.com. I have found this error message in the maillog:

autoresponder:_Mailname_not_found:_mailname@domainb.com.

I just don't know enough about how the autoresponder is processed.

Can any one shed some light on this or even provide a solution? Your help is appreciated.
