• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Awstats not working anymore after update

Manfred Beck

Basic Pleskian
After one of the last 2 updates Awstats is responding with error /plesk-stat/webstat-ssl/current/index.html not found.
As no proposed solutions worked, I uninstalled Awstats and then reinstalled it, switched statistics on domain level off and back on. The normal page is displayed, saying too few data etc. Next day no statistics again. Repair doens't work.

I had the same issue before when switching to FastCGI allowing HTML files to execute PHP, which should be fixed by now, But now also domains with PHP 5.3.3 are affected.

"Too few data" might be the root cause. Statistics are only calculated on log rotation. So if there is not enough data in the logs, there won't be anything in statistics, because logs are not rotated. You could try to change your log rotation of the affected website, so that logs are rotated daily.

Old statistics (except of "current") were displayed correctly, might be a symlink or rights problem

@Manfred Beck Please check whether your IP address was blocked by fail2ban. Frequently users use wrong login credentials which leads to fail2ban IP address blocks. Try to open your website from a different Internet connection, e.g. from your smartphone when NOT using wifi.

Old story :) NOT in jail...
Only domains with FCGI 7.3.12 work after setting FCGI from 7.1.33 to 7.3.12. In etc/psa/php_versions.json has recently changed so something weird is going on. Domains with PHP 5.3.3 are only showing the "neue internetpräsenz" page.

So it does not have anything to do with the AWStats issue reported in this thread. Could you then please open a new thread an describe the issue so that it can be reproduced or tested to find a solution?
