• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Backup Restore from Plesk 11 to Plesk 12

Kamran_Biglari

New Pleskian
Hi,

I make full backup from my Plesk 11 server and Copy All files over %plesk_dir%/Backup to New server.
When I tried to restore them I received this error :( !

Warning:reseller "banipersia"
Failed deployment of domain baqdad.com
Warning:
Execution of "C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\bin\domain.exe" --create baqdad.com -owner "" -do-not-apply-skeleton -notify false -guid D854C8FC-19DE-4256-A172-888155D012A9 -vendor-guid 194764FD-2B44-4F82-BA33-988DFF49FCFE -creation-date 2013-05-23 -ip 78.138.101.47 -ignore-nonexistent-options failed with return code 1.
Stderr is
Wrong syntax for command's '-owner' parameter. '' does not match the pattern '/^[^\s]{1,255}$/'.

Pattern '/^[^\s]{1,255}$/' means length of owner parameter. You have -owner "" or empty. So, you need to check owner name here.

So, How can I fix this problem, I want a way to restore 200 accounts, would you please tell me how its possible to fixed this issue over .xml file ?
I want all accounts owner set under one username.
If you need Backup_XXX.xml file I can publish it here.

Thank you
