  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Backup to FTP repository fails without error

Hi all,

I got a strange problem when backing up to my FTP repository: no notification email is sent any more and under the "Current Backups Tasks" it always says "Failed" as the status. However, when I click on the corresponding backup prefix, I'm presented with the normal details of the backup with no additional log information. The only warning displayed is the following: Warning: You have to upload backup file to the server repository if you want to select the objects that should be restored.
This looks to me as if the backup action was actually performed successfully.

Due to the lack of information (don't know where the backup log can be found), I really don't know whether my assumption is correct and the backup was actually created successfully and just the actual backup task was not completed for some reasons. Also, it doesn't matter whether I select active or passive FTP mode.

Parallels Plesk Panel version: 9.5.4
Operating system (64bit): Microsoft Windows 6.0;build-6002;sp2.0;suite1296;product3
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80GHz Intel64 Family 6 Model 30 Stepping 5 ~2807MHz

I also already tried the following KB articles but none of them fixed the issue:

I hope that anybody can help me.

Thank you in advance!
