I have to potential issues that I would like to see if its possible to do in a batch job
I have a dedicated server with the Parallels Plesk Panel. It is a managed server as I am not very Linux Friendly and I don't do much server administration with web servers.
I have a number of domains on the server for different clients.
I have had a request from a client for some webspace, a main domain and a lot of subdomains/useraccounts
Essentially 1200 Sub Domains for the domain and 1200 FTP accounts. Each specific FTP account linked the specific subdomain.
This would take a long time to do manually, so I was wondering if there is a way to do this like uploading a CSV to get it to be done in a batch.
Essentially Step 1
Create 1200 subdomains (6 planet names each followed by a number from 001-200, i.e. mars150)
Each subdomain to have its own folder in the webspace
Is there anyway to process this as a batch job?
Essentially Step 2
Create 1200 FTP accounts with a single password (each username the same as the subfolder name)
Each account linked to their specific subfolder
Is there anyway to process this as a batch job? (would it be easier to have different passwords for each?)
Finally is there anyway the user can change their password wihtout going into the control panel, afterall its only an FTP account being made not an access to the Plesk Website&Domain Panel
