  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Bounce emails are getting stack in queue

Priwac

New Pleskian
Hi,

All bounce emails are getting stack in queue (deferred). I tried a few suggestions I found around but nothing changed. Any ideas please?

Ubuntu 12.04
Postfix
Plesk

This is the only message in mailog
Sep 13 23:24:39 server postfix/qmgr[17342]: B3C2A60ED4: from=<xxxx+53920ef6+xxxx=outook.com@xxxx.com>, size=5088, nrcpt=1 (queue active)

Well... this answer is a bit too short, to investigate why the queue doesn't proceed on the next try - the log entry just points out, that there IS a queue, why the actual mail won't be delivered and why the new email is queued behind the others.

To tell postfix, to go to work immediatly you might want to force postfix with the command: "postqueue -f" ... but this doesn't solve the innitial problem, which you still have to investigate to get rid off.

A solution you might try is, go to:

Home > Tools & Settings > Server-wide mail settings > Settings

Limitations on outgoing email messages

The following limits are default. They can be overridden in each service plan and subscription. The limits do not work server-wide, but act as a template for the plans and subscriptions for which no custom limits were specified. Note that switching on the limitation of outgoing email messages can affect the mail server performance. Learn more about limiting outgoing mail
