• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello,

can i install Parallels Web Presence Builder Standalone on cloudlinux/cpanel ?

because i try to install it with /etc/yum.repos.d/pa4wp.repo

[pawp-dist]
name=pawp
baseurl=http://download1.parallels.com/WPB/Standalone/11.5/dist-rpm-CentOS-$releasever-$basearch/
gpgcheck=0
priority=10
enabled=1
[pawp-third]
name=pawp-third
baseurl=http://download1.parallels.com/WPB/Standalone/11.5/thirdparty-rpm-CentOS-$releasever-$basearch/
gpgcheck=0
priority=10
enabled=1

and run yum install pa4wp-std

but it shows with error:

Error: Package: mod_fcgid-2.3.6-1.el6.cloudlinux.1.x86_64 (cloudlinux-x86_64-server-6)
Requires: httpd-mmn = 20051115
Error: Package: pa4wp-std-11.5.6-1759.all.noarch (pawp-dist)
Requires: mod_ssl
Error: Package: pa4wp-std-11.5.6-1759.all.noarch (pawp-dist)
Requires: httpd
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

thank you

Hello,

so,if i want to use WPB for my cpanel users, i still need to prepare another server ? i can not install all the WPB related files and system on the one cpanel server directly ?

thank you

No and you should never do this in the first place. It would mess with the cPanel files or config, and if the software was installed on the same server you would have nothing but problems.

WP needs to be run on a standalone server for performance and technical reasons. A separate environment is the way to go.

I installed WPB 11.5.6 standalone on a blank new VM (CentOS 6.4 x64). Installation is easy, no messing.
But a few other enhancement/bugs found (see recent posts raised by me)
