• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Can I (safely) do a dist-upgrade from 16.04.6 LTS to 18.04.2 LTS yet?

Is this article still current? Does Plesk support Ubuntu 18.04?

It says: Although Ubuntu supports dist-upgrade from 16.04 to 18.04, it is still under testing with Plesk and it is not supported by Plesk even under testing Plesk Onyx 17.9 tear. Support of dist-upgrade is expected soon in future product updates.

Are we still just waiting for Plesk to support it? Almost a year after 18.04.1 supported dist-upgrade from 16.04?

We plan to add support of this dist-upgrade. While we collect information about how much it is claimed. I added your request to the list.
Thank you.

Are there any updates on this matter?
Ubuntu 16.04 will get EOL in about one year, so it should be about time to start planning the dist-upgrades now, which can't be done as long as there is no upgrade-path from Plesk.
