  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Issue Cannot change the MPM mode

tkalfaoglu

Silver Pleskian
When I use the PLESK interface to change the MPM mode to Prefork, it gives me an error that php5 module cannot be disabled because there are sites (181 to be exact!) still using it.(php5 is grayed out, so I cannot toggle it)

It says:
Error: Unable to set the mpm_event mode: it requires Apache PHP5 module turned off but this module is used by domains.

Therefore there are two issues here:
  • php5 is preventing the MPM mode toggle,
  • cannot enable or disable the mod_php even if I wanted to.

Also, The new config files format seems different; the /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf is almost empty now; whereas the things like MPM used to be there.. I guess most of it is buried alive in the include files now.
