Can'r create domains/subscriptions

Hi,

we are running a completely new installed virtual server with plesk 10.2 un ubuntu 10.04.
But we cannot create any domains resp. subscriptions on it (alos tried the workspace).

We always get the following error:

Error: Unable to update domain data: Unable to restore the DNS zone: an error occurred while adding the ns.mydomain.xx IN A xx.xx.xx.xx record: Incorrect DNS record values were specified.

In addition we do not even need the dns management, but we see no way to deactivate it.

Any help appreciated.

I can say only common words here - DNS zone files or DNS templates should be checked and corrected.

the server is completely new installed by the provider with initial templates etc.


Can u plz give me a hint where to find the zone files psa is using and which of them have to exist (access rights?)

How can I tell plesk not to try to store the zone files?

Hello,

can you please help us to find the issue. We paied for this application and are not able to use it. I tried so much more now, but the Problem stays the same. I updated to 10.3.0. I even switched off the DNS Zone template.

Home>Server and Panel Settings>DNS zone template Switch off

The only entry which remains is "ns.<domain>." And when i want to add a new customer including the subscription i get the following error:

Error: Unable to update domain data: Unable to restore the DNS zone: an error occurred while adding the ns.mydomain.de. IN A **.**.**.** record: Incorrect DNS record values were specified.

I have no Idea any more.

Please help as soon as possible. I can provide you with any information you are interested in.

Try to restart named service and check corresponding logs in /var/log/messages
