• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Can't add to black list product package psa-tomcat-configurator

I don't really have a choice, so I'll have to go for it.
I am being told that the next version of Plesk will support MYSQL5, so until then, if Plesk breaks I will have to manually figure out to add email users, etc.. I only have about 3 websites to set up, ftp, and about 10 emails, so I may be able to muddle thru, but Plesk sure would make it easier. I also would like to use the Acronis backup feature I believe.

I would do that, but I don't know how to add domains, emails, etc without it.
Do you know of a good source for that knowledge?
RHEL4 is what I'm running.
I don't mind manually doing the work for a couple of months as I really don't need that much done, but I do need some done.

You could check out the free Webmin if you're not into setting up domains and mailboxes the 'normal' way (which is different for every piece of software of course, you'd have to check the docs) and want a web interface: http://www.webmin.com/
