  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Can't install ServerShield on a new server

Denis Gomes Franco

Regular Pleskian
I just fired up a new server, installed Plesk, updated to the latest Obsidian release and now I'm setting things up. But I can't install the ServerShield extension:

After hitting Continue, it says:

Even by selecting *other* extensions to install together with ServerShield, the installer only installs these extensions and not ServerShield.

Also checking extensions via SSH returns this:

Any tips on how to fix this?

Well, not that it was the best extension though. I had issues with it because I wanted to use my own Cloudflare account for all my customer's domains, instead of using each customer's Cloudflare account...

Anyway, glad to know.
