  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Can't Select PHP 7.4 on Obsidian 18.0.21?

Which I thought included php 7.4 - log shows 7.4 being updated, but the "Install or Upgrade Plesk" apge does NOT list php 7.4 as an option we can offer and choose on ANY domains php settings. And there is NO selection listed to install php 7.4

We have a php app that would benefit from 7.4, but can't add it to the domain. Just doesn't show up as an option or something we can add. Anyone have an idea why?

Try install PHP7.4 in CLI with following command:

# plesk installer --select-release-current --install-component php7.4

and show error messages if any.

I have exactly the same problem - upon attempting the CLI command above I'm shown "You already have the latest version of product(s) and all the selected components installed. Installation will not continue."

I'm on CentOS 6 (final release) with latest version of Plesk Obsidian.

EDIT: just discovered PHP 7.4 is not supported on CentOS 6. That explains it then!
