• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Can't upgrade Plesk

JP Kelly

Regular Pleskian
When trying to upgrade Plesk 10.4.4 to 11.0.9 I get the following errors:

Code:
ERROR: Unable to install the "plesk-base-11.0.9-cos5.build110120608.16.x86_64" package.

The following could cause the installation failure:
1) plesk-base-11.0.9-cos5.build110120608.16.x86_64: No suitable solutions were found
for the "sw-engine >= 2.5.1" dependency.

2) sw-engine-2.5.1-201206041748.centos5.x86_64: No suitable solutions were found
for the "libaps.so.1()(64bit)" dependency.

3) Unable to downgrade 'libaps' package to version 1.0.2-669424.11062311:
version 1.0.4-768202.12060417 is currently installed.

Any ideas on how to address this?

I tried Plesk Panel (web) and command line

I tried via Plesk Panel (web) and with /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstaller

Have you used any third-party repositories like Atomic or something else? Looks like there is packages misconfiguration. Contact Support Team - they will check and fix it directly on your server.

Yes I use Atomic. What is the best way to contact the support team?

Are you replying to me?

Atomic support?

Do you support the Atomic repo?
I have noticed some of your kb articles recommend using the Atomic repo.

Yes, we support it, but it was just my assumption that you have some incorrect mix of packages on server.

Could you please tell me ticket ID? I would like to look at this.

I see that ticket is resolved already and your server is upgraded.
