Can't Use Smarter Mail 4.2

When trying to select SmarterMail Server 4.2.2698 for my mail server, I receive this error:

"Can't find maxRelayThreads tag in config file."

Can anyone help me out with this?

The event viewer shows the following:

Can't find maxRelayThreads tag in config file.
at (VPackageManager::setDefault line 351)
at execute console command --set(vconsoleapp::start line 128)
at execute "C:\SWSoft\Plesk\admin\bin\defpackagemng.exe" --set "--type=mailserver" "--default=smartermail"(vconsoleapp::run line 138)
Execute file name: C:\SWSoft\Plesk\admin\bin\defpackagemng.exe

And, Plesk also shuts down the SmarterMail service and sets it to manual for some reason too.

I've got the same problem

My problem is exactly the same. SmarterMail seems to be working fine but can't integrate into PLESK. Please help

I emailed bugreport@swsoft.com with the error I was receiving. They gave me a dll to use with the install, however, there are still problems with creating new emails and connecting to my mail server through Plesk.

Bugs said there will not be a fix until the 8.2 update.

Hello,

if you have the Problem with Mail creation I found a Solution. It's not a real Solution but it works.

Log in to you Smartermail Admin Pannel. go to General Settings -> Security and set the 5 Chars to 0 and then you can create without problems E-Mail Accounts.
