• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Can't view website if inside network

Here is how my test environment is set up:

-Plesk located at subdomain1.domain.com
-Test website is located at subdomain2.domain.com
-domain.com does NOT point to plesk server ip.
-subdomain2 ip = subdomain1 ip

Basically, if I'm on the LAN, I can't see subdomain2.domain.com, but I can still see subdomain1.domain.com (plesk cp). But, if I'm outside the network, both the plesk cp and the test site load fine. I can use nslookup to resolve the hostname fine inside the network, but I just can't access it using a browser. What's going on here that's preventing me from accessing the test site?

Thanks :)

I just realized the hostname defined on the router for the server was pointing to the wrong ip. Sorry, noob mistake :)

Thanks for the fast reply though :)
