  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi,

Does plesk control panel support CGI and PHP? and does it work only with IIS for webserver? or can be use with apache as wel? I did install 8.2 for windows (web install) and It using IIS as web server.

Hello Shahin,

Plesk does support cgi and isapi for php and these can be selected from the domain name -> setup section of the control panel. Eventhough isapi is faster it does have perfomance issues.

Also the control panel supports only IIS as the webserver for websites. Please note that you do have the option of running only the control panel on apache.
