  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Change Dedicated IP to Shared and vice-versa

Pascal_Netenvie

Regular Pleskian
Hi,
I actually use multiple dedicated IP address on a plesk 18.0.41 server (with Debian 9.13).
For one of this site we gonna build a new version.
I would want new version preprod to use same IP as old version.
The goal is to make the change from old to new site easy by just changing domain name on host settings and keep the same IP.

So i should change old site IP from dedicated to shared.
Then after migration is over change it again from shared to dedicated.

Is there any real problem with that ?
This KB says it's a problem ... Why ?
