• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Change the /var/www/vhosts dir

bramer

New Pleskian
how can i change the /vhosts dir?

my Plan:
HDD -> Main Ubuntu System
SSD -> /var/www/vhosts

- is this a idea? maybe it is better if the main system on a ssd as well?

Use transvhosts.pl utility:

Code:
 plesk bin transvhosts.pl --help
Utility to transfer vhosts content from HTTPD_VHOSTS_D directory to new place.

Usage:
        --dest-dir <path> Destination path. Path to new vhosts directory.
                             Example: /path/to/new/vhosts.
                             If directory does not exist it will be created.

        --correct-scripts    Changes user scripts.
                             Old vhost path is replaced to new path in content of all files.

This is what i do, but this is not the real answer. Because this change nothing in my system.
I do this. I restart psa, i restart the complete server but he looks always in /var/www/vhosts

Please show me how you ran this command and what was its output? Do you have a newly created destination directory?
