  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Client backup - remote ftp server

R.W

New Pleskian
Hi Guys,

[situation]
A client uses Client backup to backup all of his domains, the backup is then automatically transferred to his remote ftp server.

[problem]
When the client opens the backup manager of one of his domains, he automatically finds backup files.
Can you explain why Plesk creates them here?
I can imagine Plesk needs the separate domain back-ups te create a master client backup file, but the files should be removed when the master client backup is ready ( I assume ) ?

Thanks for youre reply's
