• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi !!

I have to configure a domain on a windows plesk 8.6 server (i have TS access to the server).

There are 2 domains. One domain has to read files from another domain. I get the error in the logs :

GET /<domain...> Nom=C:\<path...>&cont=1|11|800a0002|Access_is_denied.__ 80

>domain and path omitted.

Which kind of permissions should i give to the folders or files??

Thanks in advance,

Howdie Doodie,

Assuming that I spelled that correctly.

Assuming that I understand you correctly, you had the same issue as I did. The answer is to go directly to IIS. I am forced to use IIS6, as the web hosting company that I have uses Windows Server 2003.

1. Select the alternate domain that you want to get permissions for. Right click on the domain and select Permissions.

2. Click on Add / and then Advanced.

3. Click on the find.

4. Select the user that looks like IUSR_<your other domain>. If you want to grant domainA.com permission to access domainB.com, you would go to permissions for domainB.com and select the IUSR_domainB.

5. Okay your way out and you are done. You get the standard 3 permissions.

That should do it. Send me a private message, if you do not get it working.

Thanks,
