  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Constant alarm level change issues

Xavier12

Regular Pleskian
Hey guys,

Not sure why, but for some reason lately our Plesk installation randomly sends us notification emails about alarm level changes which go from Green to yellow, yellow to red, then goes back to normal over time. No changes were made on the server for these constant changes and emails to occur. We have a customer who also has the same issue.. Both focus primarily on nginx with little to no usage of apache.

Please advise, thanks.

It is best to manually monitor the server during the time you get level change notifications

Hi,

Thanks for the help. We do in fact monitor the changes to see what is causing the issue, and there is no specific process or site that is causing it. Also, when the issue occurs and gives a warning within Server health located at the homescreen of plesk, the memory usage of apache is only 22%, yet apache continues to become the root of the issue and these warnings jump up and down. Most sites, which are wordpress, are using nginx.

Please advise, thanks.
