  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Content disappeared after implementing nginx leverage browser caching

Bogdan1

Regular Pleskian
Hi,

I've implemented nginx leverage browser caching, but after that my website stopped showing styles, images, etc.., only html left and loading time increased from 1.5s to +-10s.

Code:

Code:
location ~* .(js|jpg|jpeg|gif|png|css|tgz|gz|rar|bz2|doc|pdf|ppt|tar|wav|bmp|rtf|swf|ico|flv|txt|woff|woff2|svg)$ {
    etag on;
    if_modified_since exact;
    add_header Pragma "public";
    add_header Cache-Control "max-age=31536000, public";
}

What can cause that?

Thanks

Is this some random snippet you copied and pasted from some random tutorial you found online?

Can you share the domain?

I have the exact same problem,
every static content is retuning 404 after applying what explained here to enable leverage browser caching in nginx :

How to enable leverage browser caching for nginx?

This had been reproduced in two Plesk environments with "PHP-FPM server by Apache" with PHP 7.1 shipped by Plesk
and Nginx as reverse proxy (pretty common straightforward configuration)

I have double checked that "Serve static files directly by nginx" is not checked in domain configuration.

Any advice ?
