• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Could not issue/renew Let's Encrypt for webmail

it-brockmann

New Pleskian
Hello,

i get every day the same email. There is no mailhosting active on this domain and "Secure webmail on this domain" is unchecked. So why Lets Encrypt try to renew this certificate?

Could not secure domains of ************* with Let's Encrypt certificates. Please log in to Plesk and secure the domains listed below manually. Securing of the following domains has failed:

* domain.com
Missed domain names failed to pass validation: webmail.mydomain.com

Hi,
isn't really an answer to WHY it is happening (glitch in the database?) but...
briefly turn on mail hosting, secure webmail manually, untick the webmail box again, disable email hosting.
See if that resolves it
Cheers,
Tom

Hi,
i try... really every option, disable webmail secure, with mailhosting and without, select certificate for webmail and unselect and renew the certificate every step manually.
Every day the same email... maybe its another problem, cause the certificate renew manually without error?
