  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

cPanel (CentOS) to Plesk 10 (CentOS) - Info?

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

I currently have a dedicated server that runs off of CentOS w cPanel/WHM. I'm setting up a new dedicated server and it will run off of CentOS w Plesk 10.

1. My current dedicated server's MTA is exim; can Plesk be installed with exim as well?

2. Also, would I be able to import all my current mailboxes from my current cPanel server over to my new Plesk server?

Thank you!

Hi,

Ok, thank you for this link.

Just so I understand what it says here this migration will migrate:
- all my different domain accounts that I have setup on cPanel/WHM but it won't migrate the user info I have setup for these domain accounts?
- all my different domain account's mail including all current content in these mailboxes?
- all my different domain account's FTP accounts but passwords won't be migrated?
- all my different domain account's mySQL databases that I have created (including data and database users)?

Thank you, again!
