  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Pleskian
Hi all,

I am getting some crazy spikes average load (eg rising sometimes from less than 1 to over 20) and I want to check whether this might be caused by cron jobs. Can anyone please tell me does this...

Code:
$ crontab -l
8,23,38,53      *       *       *       *       /opt/psa/admin/sbin/backupmng >/
$

tell me that there is only one cron job on my system (Debian 5) and that this command is run four times per hour? What does this command do and does it consume a lot of CPU ie which might cause spikes in average load? In the Plesk interface I have set up my website (about 5GB) to back up once per week so I don't know what command is happening four times per hour.

Thanks...
