  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Custom named.conf configuration

I'd like to setup a domain or subdomain, but not through plesk (ipv6 stuff).

Is there any way I can add a zone to /etc/name.conf, without plesk overwriting it next time I add a site in plesk? I was thinking of something like /var/www/vhost/xxxx.com/conf/vhost.conf files.

Thanks

Hi Julian,

Did you get a solution about how to manage IPV6 stuffs from Plesk ? as it looks it's still unable to manage IPv6 in current version, right ?

Thanks
