  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Cygwin with plesk

Dears,
Would you please help me with this?
I want to run cygwin with plesk 12.5.30 in windows server 2012 because I want to connect ssh to my server, So, I installed and run it and connected to my server.
After some days the owner permission of var folder changed from the name of user i installed cygwin inside it to system, So, After this changing i can't connect ssh to my server because the service stopped.
So, is there any conflict between cygwin and plesk?
And how can I run cygwin without the need to install it again every time the owner change?

Why native Microsoft RDP connection to your server is not comfortable for you? As far as I know we never tested Plesk with cygwin and can't guarantee correct operation.
 
thanks for replaying, but i need ssh connection for another purpose.
Is there any suggestion?
