  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question DEBIAN 8 > DEBIAN 9: Upgrade-Questions

omexlu

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

I am planning to upgrade my server from Debian 8 to Debian 9 and wanted to do it according to these instructions:

Is there anything special to consider here? Which mistakes could happen? I use Plesk Obsidian.

I have changed the SSH port and the firewall is blocking the default port, I guess it's better to disable the firewall before upgrading to avoid locking myself out of the system?

EDIT: Anyway i don't have this file (/opt/psa/bin/distupgrade.helper.deb8-deb9_post.x64.sh) on my system, is this created by other helpers after?

I would be grateful for any information.
