Dedicated IP for a Virtual Domain dont works

I have to enable SSL on a Virtual Hosting in Plesk, so i have to use a Single IP for this host.
My Problem is, when i use the function to assign a Dedicatet IP, in "Hosting", and then "IP Adress". I can change it from "Shared IP" to "exclusive IP", but i cant connect via the browser to this ip. It dont changes really. I cant connect via telnet newip 80 to. I can ping the exclusive ip from localhost only. Any ideas? After the change, it shows the "Exclusive IP" and it shows no errors.

Hello,

Are you sure that IP address is properly attached to your server?
Try pinging the IP from outside the server, ex your local machine or another source and see if it responds.
Also try doing a telnet to several open ports on your server and see if it responds.
If you still not reaching the IP there are two possible reasons of why this is happening,

- Its probably that the IP address has not been properly attached to the server.
- You might be experiencing a networking or a routing issue and you should contact your dedicated server provider.
