  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Delete domain error

When I try to delete a domain, a message error comes out, and the domain couldn't be deleted.

The error message is:

Error: Unable to remove domains: Problems occured while removing domains: Unable to turn the domain OFF: User or role 'auss' does not exist in this database.

plesk version is 7.5

Thanks in advance

This belongs to your MS SQL DB user in that particular domain.

Try to remove DB contents , tables, procedure through ms sql and then remove domain.

arazas,

Your post helped me determine the source of the error, namely that there is an orphaned user in the Microsoft SQL database. My workaround was to go to the database, re-add a user, and then retry the operation in Plesk. This worked.

thanks.
