  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Did I upgrade PHP-version the correct/normal way?

Pleskie

Regular Pleskian
Hi there,

I wanted to upgrade 2 domains to PHP version 7.1.

It worked, but I'm not totally sure if I did it the correct way.

In Plesk Panel:

- I installed PHP 7.1 using 'updates and upgrades'
- I upgraded the PHP-version of the service plan (associated to the 2 domains) to version 7.1

* I expected that the 2 domains would be synced and upgraded to PHP 7.1 automatically, but they didn't *

- I manually changed the PHP-version of each domain to PHP-version 7.1

* This worked, but it 'locked' the service plan. To solve this problem:

- In 'subscriptions' I selected the domains and changed their service plan to 'none'.
- Then I selected them again and changed their service plan to the original service plan.

SO YES, in the end it all seems to work. But was this the correct way to do it?
