  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I paid you guys to install the plesk panel and BIND was installed by default, due to some scripts we use for dns for some of our customers, I want to switch to Microsoft DNS. I installed Microsoft DNS but when I reboot and go back into plesk panel it seems that the panel does not recognize Microsoft DNS is installed and the option to switch to it is greyed out. Any help?

version

Do you happen to know the version of MS DNS that's installed when you use the server manager in windows 2008 x32? I can't seem to find a version.

Did you tried to find MS DNS version in MS DNS snap-in?
