  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello,

Am I wrong, or CLI documentation for plesk 9.5 is not updated?

I am trying to get the whole sintax for "dnsmng", but I did not find it in this doc.
Instead, I found "dns". Trying to use its sintax on "dnsmng" get no result.

Example:
dnsmng --set-slave domain.tld
But no change is done.

Would appreciate any help.

Thank you!

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/dnsmng is internal non-CLI utility. You should use /usr/local/psa/bin/dns utility instead.

Hello Igor,

Would you please let me know how is the way to update all for the zone files using CLI?
I set all TXT records for all my domains, on dns_rec table, but I need to get the zone files updated ...

Thank you so much,
Jorge.

Use dns utility with script. Something like:
for i in `mysql -uadmin -p\`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow\` psa -Ns -e "select name from domains"`; do /usr/local/psa/bin/dns -a $i -txt .......;done

More details in

# /usr/local/psa/bin/dns --help
