• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello All ! :D

This is my first post on the swsoft forum

I've got a major problem and i've not finded the solution

- I create a domain example.com
- I can create mailbox@example.com

- I add a domain alias sweet.com on example.com
- i cannot create mailbox@sweet.com

Someone can light me ?

You need a physical domain setup to host email, an alias doesn't count.

Or you can go into the Mailenabled panel and do it by hand.

and why is asking me plesk if i want a "full" or a "web&ftp" account for the alias?

In the help file they write that it is also creating links for mail and tomcat on choosing "full".

what's up with that?
have they forgot to program some lines of code???

Saludos

I have found an answer to this by Mertz in a new post:

"If you already have the domain aliased, each email account you create will be created in both "domains" inside the mail server."

Ok this is not really how it should be, but better than nothing. Haven't tested yet, but think this is working as i saw on our mailenable server all the domain alias'
