  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Domain is suspended every day by backup and not resumed

Dear Support

Question about "Domain is suspended every day by backup and not resumed" - http://kb.parallels.com/en/116906
How can I configure for default this setting "Un-check the Suspend domains until backup task is completed option in the scheduled backup task properties" ?

I have investigated it and found that this behaviour is harcoded. The reason of this behaviour is following - this checkbox is enabled by default for preventing inconsistent backups. Imagine, you have very big site and when you create backup and domain is not suspended a lot of changes on site will not be backuped (emails, database changes and so on.) Therefore if it is not critical for you - you can go to this setting and disable this behaviour.

Hello,

Only option to disable is to do it manually. This option is enabled because plesk backup utility can not take the backup of the files which are getting updated on regular basis. Files like logs or stats. You can just untick the option and run the backup
