  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Pleskian
Hello,

we have just purchased a new server running Plesk 12.0.18. We want to migrate websites, emails etc over from a server running Plesk 11.0.9. After going to Home>Tools & Settings>Migration & Transfer Manager> entering the IP address of the new server and selecting "Only manually selected resellers, customers and domains" I click next then get the message:

Error: Migration from Plesk version 12.0.18 is not supported.

Does this mean I need to upgrade the Plesk from 11.0.9?

Thanks

Hi Igor, thanks for that. My fault... I was starting the migration the wrong way. I was starting the migration from the old server rather then from the new server. All has migrated successfully now.
