  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Domain name changed and no more possible to edit some settings

Hervé Torche

New Pleskian
Hello,

in Plesk 12 I changed the domain name. Almost everything seems working fine but when I try to edit some settings Plesk give some errors.

The old domain name is : new.duvoisin.ch
The new one is : duvoisin.ch

The domain folder didn't change and is still "/var/www/vhosts/new.duvoisinnautique.ch"

Now, when I try to change PHP settings, I have this error :

Erreur: phpinimng failed: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/var/www/vhosts/system/duvoisinnautique.ch/etc'

So Plesk try to edit a file in a directory which doesn't exist.

Does somebody know how to change it ?

Thanks a lot !!

Try to rename domain in CLI with help of following command

# plesk bin site -u oldname.com -new_name newname.com

and check possible error messages in output.
